Yo samity sam Gerber Baby Feb 2, 2008 10:43 AM Made of vinyl with a soft body. She had flirty (blinking) eyes. They rolled from side to side. The Gerber Baby has been around since 1936, but this particular model was made in 1979 and I played with her all throughout the 80's. I loved my gerber baby - I put diapers on her and my mom made clothes for her. She still has her, but I think her head is a little wobbly. I treated this baby as if she was real..... eyes moved side to side soft body with vinyl arms and legs original in box
Yo samity sam Whoopsie Doll Feb 2, 2008 10:22 AM She is 13" tall and made of vinyl made by Ideal. A novelty little doll that I'm sure drove adults crazy, but thrilled children for hours. She has a soft foam filled body that when squeezed, makes her little pigtails fly up and she lets out a very loud whistle that sounds a bit like "whoopsie". Her body is one piece, not jointed. She is wearing her original one piece sun suit and she was sold barefoot. I still have mine, but she isn't very pretty! haha her pony tails would fly up when her belly was squeezed
